HomeAway has a great opportunity for a qualified and motivated professional to join our worldwide Oracle Financials team in a functional role. This role will work with our internal accounting and finance team to support and enhance our global Oracle implementation. Responsibilities will require functional knowledge of Oracle modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Cash Management, and Accounts Receivable. Knowledge of Fixed Assets is a plus. Basic knowledge of Oracle table structure and basic SQL skills are also required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support our worldwide Oracle infrastructure.
- Work with the accounting team to resolve issues.
- Help design and develop new processes to improve efficiency.
- Create custom reports to assist the accounting team.
- Work with Oracle support to obtain patches and resolve issues.
- Assist with upgrades or implementation of new functionality.
- Understand and document new processes.
- Work with third parties such as banks and outside suppliers to integrate new processes.
Candidate Profile:
*Bachelor's degree with an Accounting or Management Information Systems focus
*2-4 Years Oracle Financials Experience in a multi-currency, multi-org environment
*Experience with the following modules: General Ledger, Accounts Payable
*Experience or familiarity with the following modules: Accounts Receivable, iExpense, Fixed Assets, Cash Management
*Experience with Oracle Financials release R12
*Basic SQL skills
*Familiarity with GAAP Accounting Processes
