A fast growing retailer of hearing products with corporate headquarters in the Dripping Springs area is looking for an individual with a high propensity for detail who can also think outside of the box when problem solving. This position will manage all aspects of the financial accounting records in an internet based accounting system for completeness and accuracy in accordance with GAAP.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Research of new accounting rules & regulations.
- Supervision and management of the Accounts Payable function.
- Consult with other departments for accurate record keeping and process improvement.
- Ensure timely entry of accounting data.
- Preparation of weekly cash close.
- Monthly closing of books.
- GL maintenance and journal entries.
- Ensure proper allocation of revenue and expenses.
- Recommend changes to policies and procedures to ensure accuracy, promote efficiency, and safeguard assets.
- Manage all aspects of accounting for additional related entities.
- Entity maintenance.
- Budgeting and forecasting.
- Financial reporting.

Skills/Qualifications Required
- Degree in accounting.
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred but not required.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, database, and Internet applications.
- Experience with NetSuite and QuickBooks a plus.
- Excellent communication skills required.
- Ability to properly prioritize and multi-task is a must.
- Supervisory experience is preferred.
