I have mobile car wash business; what rules apply to me?
Vehicle washing is limited to the hours of 12 a.m. to 10 a.m. and from 7 p.m. to 12 a.m. with a hand-held bucket
or hose with a positive shut-off nozzle. For businesses that travel to wash cars on-site, washing should coincide
with that property’s assigned watering day. For example, a business washing a vehicle at 625 Main Street would
need to do so on a Tuesday.
I have been detailing cars and trucks for about 6 or 7 years. But recently I have been detailing the out sides of homes for the last three years. Recently business in the home market has drooped off slightly so I am getting back into the detailing business again along with the power washing business. I have also been to Automotive school for both Auto Body and Auto Mechanics. I went to TCTC in Waco and to ACC here in Austin. I worked for Many car dealers and Body Shops to get the cars ready to go up for sale or back to the client.

*basic wash and wax and vacuum $45 all waxing is done by hand for a superior job machines just can't do.
*Full detail excluding carpet removal $125
*Full detail including carpet removal and cleaning $175
*Leather Conditioning $60 I use a two step system the fist product i scrub in to the leather cleaning any dirt out then i rub the conditioner into the leather let it sit for a few minutes the buff of the conditioner leaving a moist shinny leather behind that will last for a long time.
*Engine compartment cleaning $15 (this price is added to basic service)
*Clay Bar Treatment $20
This is to remove overspray from paint or road debree that will not come off with a regular wash. This is done before waxing. (this is added to basic service)
*Compounding $45 (this is added to basic service) Compound is an abrasive type past that restores paint luster and shine unlike wax that just preserves the luster compound can make a dull chalky paint shine again and slick. I highly recommend this for single stage paint jobs (no clear coat) that have not been waxed in a while.
These are starting prices for cars and small trucks, Big Trucks and SUV's add another $10, and vans add another $20.
