The Senior Product Manager at Convio is responsible for research, business case, product strategy, and go-to-market planning and execution for Convio products. This person will play a high visibility role on a strategic corporate initiative.
Responsibilities:
Lead market research, competitive analysis and product concept testing to define and build the business case for Convio products
Lead go-to-market planning including 4 Ps, MRDs, product roadmaps, detailed PRDs, and operational readiness plans
Work with Finance to develop forecasts, P/L and ROI models
Work with Engineering to develop product functionality using Agile methodology
Work with Marketing to ensure successful launch, demand generation and awareness programs are in place
Work with Sales and Channel Partners to introduce products and drive sales readiness
Analyze and report product success
Qualifications:
At least 5 years experience in software-as-a-service (SaaS) product management
Demonstrated experience bringing products to market including initial scoping and business case development
Strong familiarity with online marketing technologies and concepts
Strong grasp of user-experience design
Proven ability to lead effectively across matrixed teams and at peer and executive levels
Excellent written communication and presentation skills
Can do attitude with a demonstrated ability to get things done under minimal supervision
4 year degree in marketing or a relevant business discipline preferred
MBA a plus
