Our Medical Assistant program is a multi-functional, multi-dynamic course oriented to a physician’s office or clinic setting. While in the Medical Assistant program student’s will learn to be responsible for patient intake, collecting blood and body fluid samples, performing ECG’s, assisting the physician in minor office procedures as well as billing insurance companies, creating insurance claims, scheduling patients and procedures. As a Medical Assistant, you will work with everyone from newborn infants to the elderly. Your employment options are endless and there is a place for everyone. Upon successful completion of the program, graduates should be able to find entry-level employment in a variety of healthcare settings such as a hospital laboratory or a private physician’s office.
