Antique 19th century retablo oil painting on tin from Mexico - $200 (N. Austin)
It's an oil on tin retablo or devotional image from 19th century mexico. the colors are really nice and vibrant. i'm selling it in the origional frame in which i bought it several years ago. the image is of st. joseph and the child jesus. apparently it's by an annoymous painter called the double bearded painter b/c of the shape of joseph's beard. anyway, if you're interested, let me know. thanks. it measures about 8x14 and the frame is obviously somewhat larger. don't know if the frame is vintage or antique. i bought it like that.
