Examples of guests I've had include: transgendered person, anorexic, convict in prison for DWI, competitive eater, had near-death experience, someone with only 1 leg, a dwarf, victim of sexual abuse, guy who ran 63 marathons in 63 days, and many more. Hi Everybody,

Halloween is over. If you think you will not keep your costume for next year, I would be happy if you can give it to me.

And if you don't want to give it up free, I don't mind to pay a little for it.

The idea is that I want to collect lots of Halloween costumes (especially for children) and give it back to children from needy families in the Halloween time next year.

I felt awful, in the halloween night, to see some kids who did trick or treat without wearing costume because they parents don't have money to buy so.

It was killing me when these children ask their parents "why can't you buy me a costume".? I heard the parents said back "we don't have much money".

My two kids were lucky enough because I could afford nice costumes for them.

I am thinking it might be a way to make these unfortunate kids happy for next Halloween. So here I am posting my ad.

What do you think? .. would you help, too? ..

Primarily Primates, Incorporated is a non-profit sanctuary in Bexar County , Texas that operates to house, protect, and rehabilitate various non-native animals. The private refuge currently houses several hundred nonhuman animals, and, as the name implies, focuses primarily on caring for apes and monkeys. Many are cast-offs from the pet trade and biomedical research institutions. Individuals who have been accepted into the refuge include chimpanzees once used in space training and testing protocols by the United States Air Force and Oliver, a chimpanzee once paraded on television shows as the "humanzee" due to a habit of walking upright.

i have to do a project for school, and i decided to try and organize some people in austin to get together and clean up some dirty areas of our town that should be fixed up. some ideas are parts of east side, around the lake/greenbelt/parks, or in a few different neighborhoods.

there would be no compensation, but helping to keep our city would be reward enough! it wouldn't have to be all day, just a few hours in the afternoon on like a saturday or sunday in late November.

Hello to all. Let me start by telling you who I am .My name is Maria and I am wanting to help a few families out with their food situations.I recently had helped a friend out taking them to places all over Austin to get help with some food and it was honestly a mission.We would go to food banks and DHS and I really felt bad for families that couldn't put food on their tables.We went to one place and they said we can't help you and closed the doors.We went to a church and really i understand every little bit counts and helps but when you are in line for over 2 hours to be one of the first 20 people to get helped and come out with 1 can of vanilla ensure and 1 can of corn and 1 bag of beans and rice and 1 jar of peanut butter what are you really suppose to do with that for 2 months really2 months.Some people have babies ever thought that the kids would like milk eggs bread for the peanut butter.Anyways what I am wanting to do is take donations of any non perishable and perisable foods(canned veggies,soups,powder milk,canned milk,bread, crackers, etc. even reg. milk, cheese,eggs,ground meat,chicken,hamburger helper etc.)I am wanting to at least help out as many families as I canI want to make sure that the kids have food and the babies have milk.I know it may take a lot for someone to understand why i am doing this but going with my friend who had fell into a bad spell and lost their jobs and can't put food in their stomachs and can't get help here in austin without looking down upon because of what their zip code is honestly is ridiculous.If you are willing to help me fight the hunger in Austin please email me and I will get back to you as soon as possible.If you are a family or you know of a family who is need for some food please email me with their names number, or how to reach them.I am just starting this and I am wanting to help everyone out but I can't do it with out your help.I can meet you for your donations.Thank you for reading this post and I look forward to meeting with you all soon.May God Bless You .
