Qualified candidates will:
Have at least ten years of engineering, construction or related experience
Have testified as an expert in legal proceedings
Have extensive experience developing expert opinions in relation to construction disputes
Be interested in the opportunity to establish a long term presence in the Austin market
Hold a bachelors degree (post-graduate a plus but not required) in engineering, construction or related discipline
Have a proven track record for managing multiple projects consisting of diverse team members to successful completion
Be proficient with standard industry tools such as Primavera, Timberline, RS Means and MS Project
Hold or be interested in acquiring professional certifications (PE a plus but not required) within areas of expertise
Excel at developing and maintaining client relationships
Be comfortable developing and presenting material at industry speaking engagements
Be open to travel on an as needed basis
Candidate MUST HAVE:
EXPERT witness experience
Have been deposed
Writing EXPERT reports
Litigation and mediation experience
Not interested in attorneys or someone with insurance background.
