THE ROLE

THE RESPONSIBILITIES
� Define and implement procurement policy, based on Xycarb�s portfolio.
� Define and implement procurement tooling to measure supplier�s performance based on reliability, quality and certification.
� Lead negotiations with strategic suppliers.
� Define and control procurement procedures.
� Provide support to various employees in negotiations with third parties.
� Investigate new potential markets and suppliers that could be beneficial to Xycarb Ceramics.
� Handle penalty and damage claims.

I am a student at tx state and I need somebody who knows how to use REVIT to help me with my final project. I am short on time and not as proficient with Revit as I need to be to get the job done. I have my final floor plans and my design done by hand, but I will need somebody to put my floor plans in Revit and help with construction documents if possible. (i.e. sheet layouts, title blocks, window and door schedules, printing).
Paying $10.00 per hour, but would like somebody who is fast and proficient b/c I am pressed for time. I can meet in Austin if you have Revit and a way to print large documents, but I do not have it on my computer. Job Duties Include: Perform engineering duties in planning, analyzing, and designing post tension slabs on grade and elevated slab for residential & commercial buildings, wood framing structures for current codes, earth/water retaining structures, and masonry structures. Manage and direct staff members and the construction, operation or maintenance activities at project site. Provide technical advice regarding design, construction, or program modification and structural repairs. Inspect project sites to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications and safety requirements. Compute loads to determine design specifications. Plan and design structures and foundations using design software and drawing tools. Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photography, and other topographical or geological data to plan projects.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently while maintaining established policies and procedures are a must. Job Duties:
� Forecasts project costs.
� Gather details and complies data to estimate all production costs according to scope.
� Considers raw materials, labor, equipment, tools, labor and transportation for estimations.
� Help determine necessary resources for projects based on cost estimates and budgetary constraints.
� Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures within the construction industry.
� Relies on judgment and experience to plan and accomplish goals.

Position Requirements:
� Bachelor�s degree preferred.
� 2-4 years of related experience

Other Requirements:
� Ability to work 20-40 hours a week.
