The duties of the position include job estimation as a result of physical inspections; interfacing directly with existing clientele; planning for and developing new clientele; researching and establish pricing; preparing for and submitting competitive bids and contracts directly to new and existing clientele; closing deals; organizing the commencement of work; supervising project managers during the performance of the job; ensuring client satisfaction at all times; and establishing and overseeing job/cost/profitability/time schedules.

Good writing skills, mid-level mathematic ability, and proficient use of Microsoft software products a requirement. New software must be learned quickly.
The office is dynamic. Thoughtfulness and well-reasoned approaches to problem solving, the essence of the job, are expected. The ideal candidate will be extraordinarily organized. Experience in the multi-family, construction and/or homebuilding industry is a preference; however, the company is most interested in finding the right people than in filling specific job descriptions.
2-5 years of work experience is preferred, but a new graduate with the right skill set will also be considered.

Background

Green Revolution Cooling is a new Austin based startup focusing on cooling technologies for datacenters. Data centers are undergoing rapid change. Changes include:
1) The amount of power used by data centers has tripled to nearly 3% of US electricity from 1% in 2000, with <1/3 due to inefficient cooling designs
2)	With hardware prices rapidly dropping the infrastructure and lifetime operating costs of housing a server individually can cost more than the server itself
3)	Power densities have increased 10 fold in 10 years and the new high densities are hard to air cool by the best operators and impossible by most

We have just returned from SC 09 where we were selected for free exhibition under the “Disruptive Technologies” exhibit. We introduced our product and had an amazing reception. We believe our product is by far the best currently on the market as it reduced cooling energy by 95%, is much cheaper upfront to install, and allows near limitless power densities.

Additional company data points include:
1)	Expect NSF grant notification early December 2009, starts Q1 2010
2)	Well-known and well-funded financial backer (you will instantly recognize the name)
3)	First product going into the field in Q1 2010 to the biggest data center in Texas

No knowledge of controls are required.
