I bought this setup used a couple of years ago for something like $600. It's been a great unit. I've used it for all sorts of things - DVDs, Playstation 2, Nintendo Wii, and videos through a PC. I just need some cash to offset a new PC purchase.

Do some research on the web and you'll see that this model is highly rated. It's a great "bang for the buck" HD (720p) projector.

It has 1 component input, one VGA input, one S-Video input, one composite (RCA) input, and one HDMI input. I have a quality active (powered via a power adapter) 3-port component switchbox w/ a remote that's included, which I bought specifically for this projector because it only has 1 component input. I won't list other specs here since you can research that on the web, i.e. from review sites, which there are plenty of.

When I got the unit, the lamp life was pretty low - something like 1000 hoursl, and it was used in low lamp mode exclusively, which extends the life of the lamp. In this mode, the bulb is rated for 3000 hours. compared to 2000 for normal mode. I'm not sure how many hours I put on it (having a hard time finding the control command to show that) but I can tell you that I've also used it in low lamp mode, in order to maximize the number of hours. Only on a handful of occasions have I turned the lamp on normal, like for real dark movies. The unit will warn you (via a flashing light) when the hours are 2500, and it will stop working at 3000 hours, I suppose for safety reasons. Considering that the flashing light hasn't happened, the best I can say is that there are still at least 500 hours left on the lamp. When it's time to replace the lamp, that will cost you about $200 from looking on eBay briefly. This is why I'm selling this at what I feel is a good price.

Comes with a homemade 82" screen. It's basically a piece of sheetrock that was painted (sanded too maybe?) gray with a black border. It's nicer looking than it may sound.

There's also a ceiling mount kit, although it's not required. I have the unit sitting close to ground level on the bottom of a coffee table.

Everything is still setup for demonstration. I won't be disassembling until I find an interested buyer.

Please be aware of the following, since once this is sold, I won't be accepting returns (although I certainly guarantee everything to be working):

1. You will need a lot of room between the screen and the projector to set this up, especially for this particular unit, and especially if you're planning doing a ceiling mount installation, since it doesn't have a physical lens shift. Please make sure you have done your research on that part. There's a Mitsubishi projector distance calculator you can get on the web where you enter the model of the projector and the room dimensions, and that will tell you how big of a picture you can get. Although the included screen is 82", this projector can actually project a bigger image - something like over 120" from what I recall, as long as you have a big enough room. You would need a bigger screen, of course.

2. This is a DLP projector that uses a color wheel. These kinds of unit exhibit a phenomenon called the rainbow effect, that affects some people and not others. Basically, if you scan with your eyes from one spot to another real quick, in certain conditions, you can see a little rainbow. I am affected by this but it hasn't really bothered me. I'll be glad to demo a movie if you're concerned about it.

3. You'll need a large vehicle to transport the 82" screen.
