Web Designer/Developer (Austin, TX)

We are looking for a very talented Web Designer/Developer to build multiple websites. All components of web design will be required including: logo design, color scheme, image/art selection, page layout, navigation, and overall look/feel/organization of content. You will work closely with management to determine functional requirements and engineering to implement the technical requirements.

Candidate Requirements:

1. Expert in HTML,CSS,AJAX. Must understand how these technologies work and not purely rely on WYSIWYG code generators.
2. Experience developing sites in ASP.NET with MS SQL Server is required.
3. Experience with Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, or other graphics software for image creation and manipulation.
4. Experience storyboarding sites and working with management team to design sites that focus on specific products and audiences. Strong eye for design and abundant creativity.
5. Previous experience designing specifically for projects that have strong web marketing focus. Understand how to design a strong call to action and create pages optimized for conversion.
6. Previous experience and involvement in A/B or Multivariate testing for conversion optimization.
7. Experience with analytics packages such as Google Analytics and Google Website Optimizer is a Huge Plus.
8. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
9. Very dependable and detail oriented. Ability to set and achieve deadlines.

Responsibilities:

1. Design and code end-to-end web sites. Strong focus on maximizing conversion rates towards specific calls to action.
2. Create logos, color schemes, image selection, content creation, page layout, etc., for multiple web properties.
3. Interface with management team to understand requirements that will influence design concepts.
4. Interface with engineering team to integrate designs into production.
5. Monitor web analytics and make recommendations on ways to improve desired consumer behaviors. Implement and test these recommendations.
