Please support me as I take an amazing journey in the fight against breast cancer! The Breast Cancer 3-Day is a 60-mile walk over the course of three days. Net proceeds benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure and National Philanthropic Trust, funding important breast cancer research, education, screening, and treatment.
Being diagnosed with breast cancer in June 2006 changed my life. Finding out that my cancer was aggressive, fast acting, and could possibly return within 5 years, made me fight to live. This type of breast cancer strikes younger women. I had just turned 40 when mine was found. Why was there so little information available?
I personally know what it takes to battle this disease. Now that I am beginning my second year in remission, I vowed this year to make a difference in the lives of my friends, family, loved ones and many that I have yet to meet. EVERY 3 MINUTES another woman is diagnosed with breast cancer. That is alarming to me!!! This has to stop!
We have to make a change!
We have to BECOME THE CHANGE!!!!
I have to do whatever I can to help anyone affected by this horrible disease..
