Come meet the social dancers from Dance With Me Austin! We're a friendly meetup group interested in all types of partner dancing from ballroom to swing to country to latin... This week back by popular demand - All That Dance at Austin Uptown Dance's north studio. This meetup would be great preparation and practice for our next outing - the massive country/latin meetup convergence on May 18th at Dallas Nite Club.
A workshop from 8-9 teaches beginning salsa and 2-step, followed by a variety dance. Like our Meetup group, the aim of this event is to provide a variety of different music and dances - yes, it's an All That Dance! Uptown has agreed to help get us practiced up, so there will still be variety but THIS TIME, Uptown promises, it's HEAVY on the salsa and 2-step -- plus latin, swing, ballroom, and country. $5 for the entire evening; free for current Uptown students.
