Pinto Pony Gelding for sale - $1000 (or best offer / BUDA)
We have a beautiful, lovable, and gentle, bay and wht pinto pony for sale. His name is 'Dingle' or 'Dingy' around the barn, and his proposed reg name is 'Apache's Smoke Signal'. He has been hand raised and loves people. He has had good handling so is respectful of people, well mannered, and loves attention.
He does not buck, bite, strike or have any bad habits. He is coming 2 at the end of this month, and is likely to finish at close to 13.3-14hh when he is full grown. He is easy to catch anywhere (he comes to you), is halter broke, and stands for hoof trimming at liberty (I am a natural hoof care trimmer). Dingy has good feet. He has been saddled, and is not fearful of much at all. He is great with all other horses, dogs and dunkeys.
Dingle has been lovingly raised and has no trust issues. We use only natural horsemanship methods here, so he has never known a harsh hand. Most important thing to us is a great family home, preferably with some kids. He is UTD on shots and worming and coggins and trimming. He was gelded at a 1 year of age. He has a nice build, and is more like a small horse than pony. Flashy markings. Really gentle. Would make a great 4h project, or pinto show pony, or just that one special pony that is a little girls dream.
Good home is a must and no horse traders. We are looking for the best loving, family home for him as possible as we have raised him from a baby. I had a bad horseback riding accident back in October, and can no longer start and train my own babies. He will be ready to start this summer, so needs a great loving home who will continue his gentle education. Dingle is used to running on large pastures, and we don't want him to go to a home where he will be stalled. A barefoot home is preferred.
