Come To The 21st Annual Vegetarian Chili Championship Cook Off

WHAT:

Contestants from all across Texas come to Austin to compete in the much awaited yearly "Veggie Chili Cook Off," the BEST TASTING and HEART HEALTHIEST COOK OFF ever! Chili teams create an amazing array of delicious meatless chili to taste. With unexpected ingredients, consistencies and flavors on a wide range on the heat index, these magical concoctions will both delight and dazzle the vegetarian and the non-vegetarian.

Chili teams also compete for the best booth. They tend to go wild in their creative themes, costumes and decorations.

ACTIVITIES:

A day filled with tasty vegan competition, compassionate camaraderie, mingling, "celebrity judges, significant cash awards and enviable trophies for winners, knee slapping and toe tapping live music, animal rescue groups, animal adoptions, children's table, face painting, fabulous door prizes, exceptional vendors and interesting, educational exhibits. It's a "must attend Texas event of the year."

COST:

Free for 0-5, $3 for 6-12, $7 for 13 and older.
