He was spooked by the 4th of July fireworks and escaped from our back yard.

The purpose for this posting??? I saw the picture posted and my heart leapt
because I am 99.9% sure that that dog is my beloved Raider. I am more than willing to accept that he is your dog if that is the case-after all, as pet owners, we know our babies. However, when I placed a call to the lady who posted the ad, she was less than hospitable and wouldn't tell me if the person who had him was actually his owner. All she would tell me was that he had a hemorroid and that you were taking care of it-again, my hats off to you if he's not yours.

Unfortunately, this lady was completely unwilling to let me know if he might be my dog so I'm asking for your help. As I said before, if he was yours to begin with, congratulations on finding him. But if he wasn't, PLEASE contact me-my 11 and 7 year old daughters have never known life without him. He's been around forever to them. I miss him terribly!

Raider was beginning to show his age with some 'gray' hairs on his snout and his tail was slightly crooked right up near his body. (His mother sat on him when he was first born.) As a result, the hair on his tail was always rubbed off because of how it rubbed the concrete.

I'm sorry I've rambled, but I just know that you are a kind hearted person will put my mind at ease either way and let me know. Please feel free to contact me day or night-any time!!!
