My name is Amanda Walker. I have a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in the sciences (Rice University, University of Florida), and can tutor junior high, high school, and 100-200 levels in the math or sciences. This includes but is not limited to Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, II, Geometry, Trigonometry, and Calculus. Lessons will be tailored to the student's individual needs and interests.

I am available for private tutoring on weekdays and weekends- I have immediate openings on weekdays before 5pm. I can meet in your home or a library/coffee shop close to your home.

I have lots of experience taking big concepts and breaking them down into small parts so that they are easy for others to understand. I love math and science, and hope to impart the same confidence in these subjects to students, whether they are struggling, or trying to get ahead. I have taught junior high through grad level classes. However, since I am new to private 1-on-1 tutoring, I am charging $25/hour.
