2006 Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Classic LT (P-Ville) $5

This bike was purchased new by myself. I actually watched the guys at Central Texas Powersports in G-Town pull it out of the crate and assemble it. I broke it in strictly by the book. It has had the oil changed every 3k-5k- miles depending on how hot it was outside. I have run Royal Purple full synthetic oil in it since the second oil change after the first service. I changed the oil myself because I wanted to make certain that every drop of old oil was drained. Air filter changed before it was needed (a very small price considering the benefits of keeping it fresh). Spark plugs have been changed twice. Coolant level was checked regularly; topped off once. I still have the rest of the bottle to throw in with a half quart of oil. The tires are Metzler ME880's and have lots of tread left. I regularly wash it with Blue Coral car wash and wax it with good 'ol Turtle wax (Tried and true for many decades). I also dry it with my leaf blower to avoid scratching the clear coating. The neighbors look at me funny while doing that!!

I have driven it to Phoenix and back twice explaining a bit of the mileage (about 4500 of 'em). It was never revved, raced or abused in any way. I have never driven it over 80 MPH. The speedo goes up to 130 MPH but I am skeptical that it will go that fast. I am the ONLY person to drive it. The motor was ALWAYS warmed up to operating temperature before being driven. I personally rebuilt the seat to be much more comfy than stock, which was horrible! It now has a drivers backrest which is shown in the most recent picture. It is covered with faded blue leather I purchased from Tandy's leather in Austin. *I am currently working on a black suede cover for the backrest so the pic is not recent.* The stater (alternator) was replaced under warranty twice (my fault; I installed LED lights under the fuel tank which turned out to be pulling too much juice from the stater the way I'd installed them-I removed them). The battery is also new.

As the photos show, there are no emblems on the side covers, fuel tank or windshield. I have the windshield badge in case you wanna put it back on. I did some custom work on the exhaust pipes so it is louder and deeper in tone (Loud pipes save lives, right?)

I am in a pickle financially and I owe money on it still which is not a problem. We can take care of everything online at my house so the title can be sent right to your mailing address. I have all the necessary papers to make sure you feel comfortable with the purchase. I really, really hate to let it go but sometimes we have to do what is necessary to get by.

Kelly Blue Book lists my bike at $5800 at 20.3k miles. It currently has 26.1k on the Odometer.

The VN 900 has plenty of power riding solo or two up. I have gone on rides with other bikers who are Harley guys who scoffed at my "little scooter". But I tell you this, it kept up with them all too easily....plus, since it is water cooled I didn't have to stop and let it cool down periodically.

This bike has NO issues and is in PERFECT operating condition. It has ALWAYS been garage kept at home and covered at work when I could not park it under a canopy. Bottom line is that this bike has been pampered like a new born baby.

I also have a bike cover and a couple of helmets that are blue full faced to throw in. Both of those are barely used as they were my wife's and son's....I wanna keep mine.

Here is a 1980 Yamaha XT250G that is in really good condition for its age and runs strong. I bought his for my son to learn on and now he has graduated to wanting a bigger bike. If you haven't seen one of these, let me tell you they are cool. This is a pop up up trailer designed to be pulled behind a motorcycle. It only weighs 320 pounds. When it's opened up there is a full size bed. a five by five room and an awning out side to park your bike under. The tent portion is made of heavy canvas and it's in great shape. All zippers work as they should. It comes with a small AC that travels in the bottom of the trailer where you have additional storage capacity. The hitch is a special design specifically for motorcycles, you'd just have to see it to understand it. I have also pulled this little jewel behind my Honda car. It is just way cool. The trailer is a 1991 kwick camper. I have a clear Texas title in my name. The trailer has no leaks, no mildew and no funky smells. It is just too cool. I believe these trailers sell for about $4000 new. So this is a real good deal. Check the pictures and see what you think. The speedometer light just went out the other day, I have not taken time to fix it yet.
Also it ends up needing around an extra quart of oil between changes. Not sure where it is going since it does not drip.
