Greenleaf Book Group is seeking a junior-level graphic designer with design and composition experience, as well as skills in web design and html.
Responsibilities include:
* Creating content-appropriate and market-appropriate designs for book covers and interiors
* Assist in design and maintenance of the company website
* HTML/Text email newsletter
* Banner advertising
* Flash presentations and rich media ads
* Online graphic imagery including buttons, icons, etc.
* Working closely with printer representatives to prepare and submit files that meet the printers' requirements
* Working with the production team to continually assess processes and procedures to improve the quality and efficiency of service to clients
Requirements:
* Knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Adobe ImageReady, Macromedia Dreamweaver & Flash, HTML, Illustrator, and other software commonly used in the book production industry
* Experience preparing print materials for press
* Understanding of internet design issues (use of color, image optimization and format, etc)
* Bachelor's degree
* The ability to multitask and meet strict deadlines
