BOXX is a specialized provider of high-end workstations and render nodes for Visual Effects (VFX) professionals. BOXX customers create some of the most exciting digital images of the 21st century including visual effects for major feature films and animations, television shows and cartoons, interactive games, music videos, and many other contemporary media. BOXX continues to leverage its highly recognized and highly respected brand to increase its presence in the VFX market.
BOXX is looking for a talented and energetic Graphics and Web Designer with the desire to immerse oneself into a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment and be an integral part of the Marketing Department.
The position reports to the Director of Marketing and involves the following activities:
Designs and produces art and copy layouts for marketing materials, including print and banner advertisements, lead generation materials, sales collateral, corporate presentations and tradeshow materials.
Responsible for creation of collateral for BOXX products and services (brochures, white papers, web pages, case studies, FAQs, web demos, etc.) in conjunction with Product Manager and BOXX Labs
Develop and maintain boxxtech.com website and related minisites
Ensure that designs effectively communicate the BOXX brand.
• Understanding of printing processes with the ability to create print-ready production files, based on the project specifications.
• Responsible for meeting project and department timelines. Understands the requirements of each task, prioritizes tasks, and provides realistic timelines for completion.
Seeks input from the Director when agreed-upon timelines are in jeopardy.

Creative ability, eye for colors, aesthetics and layout

• Ability to give and receive feedback on work
Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Art, Graphic Arts or Graphic design or equivalent experience.
4+ years working in a computer-graphics related field.
Working knowledge of graphic design and web design software.
Require strong working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, InDesign, and Flash.
Working knowledge of web-based application development, and site design.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
