I forget exactly what that lady called you, but I like your story of standing up for yourself in the face of her rudeness beneath corporate behavioral regulation. As you counted off your polylingual accolades, pretty in a french beret, I realized it was perhaps the best 3 minutes of my day so far and it was only subsiquently topped 8 minutes later when I found myself alone on the concrete path by the little creek listening to the water gurgle while I walked back to work. Even before this moment of zen, I passed a hispanic man in nice dress clothes, silver belt buckle and boots who stood with one foot on the concrete lip of the path quietly speaking to himself and I thought about if I moved to Montana and spoke spanish I might be alone with my thoughts. That being said nothing does more for a healthy sense of Misanthropy than working at a job that requires civility in the face of the unwashed masses however uppermiddle class they may be....
I think its foolish to ask for girls phone numbers while they are working because they are such a captive audience, and well theres nothing romantic about a reciprical transaction if there is a cash register inbetween us, but it really was your smile and attitude that made me feel better about myself and I would like to get to know them better...
