to the sourpussy that replied originally, umm your job IS to sell beer. It is your one and only goal at your bar gig. dude that is the only reason bars bring in live music, the more beer you sell the more money everyone makes including you, if your band brings in lots of $$$ at the bar then will ask you back again and again. I cant believe you would say something so assanine as to think bars are there to nurture your talent, how old are you like 10? is this concept of selling beer NEW to you? THATS YOUR JOB when your a bar musician. TO think otherwise is really naive.
God I tellya that people in this town are reeeeeeeally going off the deep end, Im seeing the union coming in and making all kinds of promises and kids like him signing up and screwing everyone, give it a year and the town will unionize and the clubs will be doing a lot more DJ nights.
You need a day job man, Im with everyone else on this one.
