to the past two re: sons of oblivion posters:
just because you don't 'get' this band doesn't mean their music isn't valid. isn't that the brilliant part of music or any art for that matter? everyone creates different things and people respond and get off in different ways? this band didn't claim that their vocalist is 'singing'... obviously he's not... and obviously that's not the sound the band is going for. as for the originality... if the band is creating and playing music they enjoy and having fun doing it, as long as they're not blatantly ripping off other bands, again... is this any less valid?
i don't normally comment on posts like this... but damn, when i read stuff like 'that shit sucks' it really makes me question why you might even be on the musicians page in the first place. i for one am excited to hear *your* music, which i have no doubt must be the pinnacle of originality and brilliance. el ay em ee.
