so i just noticed that my 2 beared dragons no longer likes to eat cricket/meal worms. but they LOVE pinkies. i pay about $1.65 per pink so add that up to 5 pinks per dragon every 3 days and youll get where im coming from so i was wondering if ANYBODY knew a rat/mice breeder. somebody on here has a ad for them at .75 but i never got any respone im guessin because i called them "pinkies" anyway im here to argue about what i should or shouldnt feed my beardies, they HAVE to eat and right now pinkies are the ONLY thing they will eat so if you know where i can get 10+ pinkies at a time without breaking the bank that would be great i can pick up its no problem i just wanna get these ASAP!

i live in round rock, i have 2 dogs a pitbull and a chihuahua and the pit was a bit younger and when i brought him home all my chihuahua would do was fight with him unitl he grew big enough to defend himself anyways one of my dogs got out a few times bit a few people and i had to pay medical bill that was caused by my dog so the court orderd that my "dangerous" be put down, when animal control came to seize the "dangerous" dog i answered the door and my pit jumped on the ACO and started licking her non-stop, she looked at me and said "this isnt a dangerous dog, i dont see why they oreded me to come pick him up" then came my chihuahua and he bit through her boot he was taken away on a catch pole and put down the next day..BOTH of my dogs were raised the same way and the ONLY dog i wouldnt leave my 2 year old alone with was my chihuhahua i could put my son on floor to play and make a sandwich while my pit was sitting right next to him but i NEVER thought about leaving him alone with my chi...just goes to show what dogs really are aggresive

We have a 3 year old kitty in need of a good home.

My wife gave birth recently and I'm now realizing that we can't give our cat the attention he once received.

Some details:
* "Jack" was born in July 2006.
* He is neutered (08/2006).
* He is current on all his vaccinations (06/2009).
* He is NOT DECLAWED, but the last time he got his nails trimmed was in June 2009.
* He is litter box trained.
* He has a sister in the house, but he is definitely the dominant kitty. She chases him sometimes, but he definitely chases her more often.
* He is an indoor (90%) AND outdoor (10%) cat. Unfortunately, our HOA has given us Official Warnings about any animal (including our cat) being outside without a leash. (I know, it's ridiculous, because this is a cat we're talking about. When do cats need to be on leashes? For what it's worth, there's also a specific warning about pigs in the HOA rules, so maybe our neighborhood used to have problems with strange animals being outside without a leash. I don't know.) Anyway, when he is let out, he loves to climb trees, chase bugs, and lay in the grass in the sun (of course).
* He is really great with women. He takes to them much quicker than with most men. With most men, he usually hisses and runs away before he'll return and rub up against them. (I'm not sure what that's all about.)
* He is a very fun cat, he loves to play with his cat toys, loves to eat just about anything we give him, loves to bask in the sun, loves to cuddle with you on the couch or in bed, and also, my toddler loves it when he rubs against him.

Anyway, we're looking for a good home for him. A small rehoming fee ($40) is requested.

Chi's may not maul people but several "harmless" have such as labs, collies and goldens. My family friends put their golden to sleep after the dad got bit trying to put an e-collar on the dog. He had to get 16 stitches and 20 staples.

okay, so heres the story behind this little guy....

My mother's neighbor kept him outside, in an XL kennel in the heat without water or food all day, and his yard doesn't have any trees, so not only is there heat, no food or water, but no shade, he didnt even have a name =*(. I FINALLY convinced the neighbor to let me have him, but I have 2 other dogs of my own and I'm at the pet limit at my apts. We've been calling him "P.J.". He has "rott" markings & coloring, but with a white chest and some white on his paws. He doesn't seemed to be potty trained, seeing that he was kept outside but with some training, he'll be fine with being an inside dog. He does seem to have a "tinkling" problem when you walk up to him or touch him, but once he gets to know you, he seems to stop (he hasn't done since he got here yesterday with me or my boyfriend). He gets along with my male chi mix, & female pit mix just fine. He gets along with kids, but him being a pup still, he does need training. The neighbors seemed to only give him "table" food, so he is hesitant with dog food, but once he sees other dogs eating it, he nibbles here & there. He's playful and seems to not be affected by how he's been treated so far. There is a small re homing fee for him. JoJo is a super affectionate mature pommie boy. He is about 7 years old, neutered, and full of love to give. He's on the heavy side at about 17 lbs and needs to shed about 4 pounds... but he'll do just about ANYTHING for treats, so his foster mommy finds it hard not to reward him with his favorite thing - TREATS!

JoJo is very calm and loving. He is great with other dogs and excellent with cats. He loves walks and napping on tile floors. He will wave his little paws together when he wants attention... it is irresistible.

JoJo would do best in a home with someone who doesn't work full time and does not have small children. His ideal adopters would be retired and ready to dote on a new best friend. He LOVES car rides and is a perfect gentleman. He will bark when alarmed, but overall he is not a noisy or yappy dog. Like any dog, JoJo needs to be watched and let out frequently for potty breaks.

I have a 7 month old mix puppy that I rescued 5 months ago. Mom is a small black lab mix, Dad is unknown. Puppy looks maybe ab and possibly greyhound? She has a very thin body, and is 32 pounds. Dr's say she will not get much bigger. She is spayed, microchipped and up to date on all vaccines (all three can be proved with current paperwork). She knows her basic commands of sit, lay down, stay and leave it. The reason I am finding her a home is because I fear that without moving her to a home where someone is going to be able to spend more one on one time with her (we have two other dogs and a baby on the way), she may result to being a fear biter. She is not aggressive in any way and LOVES to play with other dogs and children (I have 3 nephews and a neice under the age of 9), but she is still very fearful when she thinks she is in trouble. She has snapped at me 3 times, never broken skin and always regretful after the fact. I work at an annimal hospital and she was a foster puppy who I took from the mom the day she was born because the mother had no milk, so she was hand fed, therefore not receiving and discipline, bonding or socialization from mom as most puppies do. She is a wonderful dog, potty trained, loyal, loves to play, etc. I think she would just do better with a family that can show her more one on one attention and teach her that she has nothing to fear. Looking for a good home for this beautiful puppy! My friend moved out of state and can't come back for her. I already have two small dogs, so keeping her is not an option.

What I know about her (Maggie)... she was adopted from animal shelter when she was 4 months old...so should be about 8 months old now. My friend was told at the time that Maggie was part German Shepherd/Lab, all black with a little white spot on her chest. I don't think the breeds are correct though, she isn't getting that big.....I would guess she won't be any larger than 30-40lbs full grown. She has been spade, licensed and shots up to date. Although, I'm not sure about heart worm and fleas. I would really like to see her go to a home with a large yard and possibly another large dog. She loves to play with other dogs, people, swim and run! A single man looking for a companion might be a great fit!!!!

I will charge a small re-homing fee. I have a crate that she came with, but to be honest, it's too small for her and you will need to get a larger one. Also, I have some left over flea medicine, toys, collar and leash.

I have a lovely young red tail boa I'm looking to rehome. He's a beautiful snake, but I just don't have the time to devote to handling him as much as he needs. I've had him for about nine months, and I'm sure he's less than a year old. He is a beautiful pale gray color with a bright red tail. He can be a bit nippy, but once you get him out of his tank, he's great. He loves to crawl around his branches and soak in his water bowl. Last night, we found a little dog when we came home from watching fireworks. Today, we took him to the vet to see if he had a chip and he DID! AVID put us in touch with the owner and we got the dog back to her less than a day after he got away. Get your critters chipped, people!

But remember... in order for it to work, it needs your help.

If you have a chipped critter, keep your contact information up to date. If you're the nomadic type, this should fall into the same "to-do" category as getting new electric service or getting the gas turned on.

If you find a critter roaming around, take them to the vet and have them scanned for a chip. It won't cost you anything. Even the emergency vets have them.

Well, a few really.

1. I am pretty sure that Towne Lake and/or The Austin Humane Society take rabbits in..true or false?
2. I'm almost positive that there is an overpopulation of homeless bunnies, and therefore they have to euthanize alot... true or false?
3. I want to save a bunny, as a gift to my mom, who is IN LOVE with wabbits and just lost one of her favorites. So, what is the rabbit situation like in Austin? (I just moved here).

I always see postings for dogs and cats who only have until the next day or so to find a home. Well, if the same goes for bunnies, I want the one that no one else does. They will be spay/neutered of course(not sure if they do that at the shelters for rabbits?) And will be inside/outside bunnies with a nice fenced off "bunny habitat"/"bunny paradise". She currently has about 6 that she's taken in and they are UNABLE to reproduce. Anyways, just looking for some information!

Last night as we drove down 5thst towards Congress, I saw what looked like a solid brown boxer mix running as fast as he could from the fireworks, with his leash still on. He obviously got spooked and broke away from his owner. We couldn't stop in the bumper to bumper traffic as the dog was running in the opposite direction on a one way street. I was heart broken to see his owner running down 5th street screaming for his dog a few minutes later. I jumped out of the car and ran after the owner to let him know the direction in which the dog was running. Unfortunately, it was towards mopac.

All I know is the dog is a full grown medium size boxer looking mix with a red leash and his name was Rover. I'm hoping the owner caught up to him, although it doesn't seem likely as it was downtown in the middle of thousands of people and traffic. If anyone saw or found this dog, please call Sarah at 947-3424. I would love to help reunite this dog with his owner. My dog is like my child. I couln't live without her.

Ten-month old black female Lab puppy needs good caring home

She gets along great with kids, dogs & cats, has strong retriever skills (ie, LOVES to fetch balls more than anything in the world) enjoys swimming (esp. Lady Bird Lake), is good natured, fun and energetic. She needs a family/person to give her lots of love and play time.

Our family underestimated the time & energy she needs, and has other pets. She's an awesome companion and would bring much doggie joy to your life!
