Wake up dude. The republicans have no plan (or at least one that doesnt backfire) Many Republican senators and one very special President has no idea how much gas is.
Democrats do have plans they are called alternative energy and guess what? the Republicans love to suck on the big fat cock of major oil and since the democratic majority in the senate is quite slim and therefore the Republicans can either block the democratic bills or Georgie can veto it. We have an OIL MAN as a President and a Congress that gets Millions from big oil.
Sure gas is high, the rest of the world pays high gas also. The answer it NOT to buy big SUVs and invade the countries that produce oil and then bitch about it when it all goes wrong (or pretend its NOT going wrong).
As the price of oil and gasoline continues to rise to record levels, what is the solution offered by the Democrat-led Congress? Do nothing.
Two years ago, then-Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi assured the nation that, "Democrats have a commonsense plan to help bring down skyrocketing gas prices..." Since then, the price of gasoline has risen by more than 60%. And there is still no plan.
Congressional leadership has been so out of touch that last week, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi revealed that she doesn't even know how much a gallon of gas costs, claiming that it was more than a dollar below the actual price.
