Rideshare/Carpool from Austin to Bastrop and back daily (Austin, TX)

Hi!
I'm about to move to Austin from Scotland (but I'm from New Zealand - complicated!) to do part of my PhD research at a medical centre in Bastrop. I was really wanting to live in Austin, but I wouldn't feel too good about driving a car by myself back and forward every day. I was wondering if there's anyone else that lives in Austin but commutes to Bastrop every day that I could combine resources with. Whether you have a car or not (I'll buy a car if needs be, but if you already have a car then great!) give me an email and hopefully we can share rides and commute slightly more sustainably!
