My current roommates and I have a house with more space than we need, and would like to put it to good use. It's a 4 bedroom house that has a game room, a pool with diving board, wireless internet access, basic cable, a garage that is currently filled with enough of our stuff so that it can't fit a car but includes a very nice gym, and the house is surrounded by tall trees in a very good neighborhood. The extra bedrooms in question are available pending moving a few things around the house and/or painting the room an appropriate color.
All bills paid in this room would be $650/month. There is a shared bathroom upstairs where all of the bedrooms except for the master are located, and a half bath downstairs. The kitchen is plenty large enough for sharing. Some amount of the rent could be exchanged for housework such as pool cleaning, light landscaping, organizing, and basic cleaning.
The current living situation includes 2 men and 1 woman. We are considering up to 2 roommates. I know some of the following requirements sound silly, but we've had several roommates previously, and you might be surprised at what needs to be said. Our roommate must be:
*18 or over
*honest/reliable/trustworthy
*tolerant of 420
*dog and cat friendly (our animals are very friendly!)
*goal-oriented
*able to converse intelligently
*in possession of own transportation, or clever and/or fit enough not to need it in an area of town which is not close to public transportation
*willing to meet in person for an interview
We are all attractive, in our 20's and 30's, are self-employed, and like to spend plenty of our time off playing hard rather than sitting in front of the TV, which does come up from time to time. To say we are fond of comedy would be a drastic understatement. No reality TV junkies here, one sports fan, two entertainers, three libertarians, one is out of town 1/2 of the time, one is out of town 1/3 of the time, and one is in town mostly. We have very cool friends, and host parties infrequently.
