It is close to everything central. If you like being close to downtown this is the place for you. We are in walking distance of the Long Branch Inn, Blue Dahlia Bistro, Primizie and the many places that the �new� east side has to offer. If you would like to walk downtown it isn�t very far; A cab ride is only 5 dollars. Red River is only a few blocks away so if you like to go see shows it is great. As for us, we are two easy going laid back people (One girl and one guy. Not a couple) We like to keep the house clean and want our new housemate to do the same, but we aren�t super clean freaks. There is a nice backyard that has a hammock and feel free to add anything to the backyard The living room is furnished so this would be perfect for someone that just has things for their room, but like I said before, we are completely open to anyone adding anything to make the place better. Our dining room table isn�t that great so if you had one that would work better we could get rid of the one we have now. I have lived here for four years and absolutely love this house and location. GREAT LOCATION! Literally a half of a block away from the #3 bus route (which goes to UT, ACC, and downtown) and less than a mile away from a major transfer station, this is a bus-friendly location. Within walking distance you will find a slough of restaurants, karaoke, pool, and (depending on what you call walking distance--I walk there, and it is less than a mile) the Alamo Drafthouse and Sun Harvest in one direction and Trudy's in the other direction. Very quick and easy access to 183 and Mopac.

GREAT ROOMMATE! Well, I should qualify that. I could be your dream roommate or your nightmare roommate, so here it goes. I keep to myself, keep the common areas clean, and am very respectful of privacy and boundaries. When I come home, it is my time to get work done (I know, sounds backwards), or recharge my batteries, which, being an introvert, means spending time alone. This means that if you are looking for a space that feels as though you are living alone, but get the benefit of sharing costs, this will be awesome. However, if you are looking for a roommate who is going to be your best buddy and go out with you and talk to you about everything that is going on in your life, I will seem cold. I am not unfriendly, but I just like time alone when I am home. I do not smoke, I do not use drugs, I am not 420 friendly (at home), and I will not tolerate illegal substances in my home. I drink in moderation, but I won't throw big parties. I will occasionally have a friend or two over, but nothing crazy.

NOW, THE BUSINESS. The $450 gets you the master bedroom (with private bathroom and a walk-in closet), heat, water, and wireless internet. We share the kitchen, living/dining area, and the electric bill (which ranges from $30 in the winter to $125/$140 in the summer, depending on A/C levels). I require a $150 deposit, and 30-days notice when you move out, but it is a month-to-month situation, so this is a great situation for someone who can't sign a full-year lease.

Here are the negotiations that I am willing to make:
- If the deposit is a problem, we can split it up into the first few months rent.
- If the rent amount is a problem, you can ask to see the smaller bedroom (the one I am in now) and rent that for the reduced rent of $385. I would also be willing to lower the rent for either bedroom after your 8th month here.

We are considering having the four year old move back to San Antonio with me. He would be in preschool for half a day and someone would be required to stay with him for approximately 4 hours. Once I arrive home you would not be responsible for his care. Care is needed Monday thru Friday approximately 25 hours a week. Duties would also include preparing lunch for him (something simple he is not a complicated boy; light housekeeping and preparing dinner. You could accompany us when we go out for dinner if you like (he loves Chilli's). I�m looking for something long term as this coming summer my wife and daughter will be moving back to San Antonio. You will be free to go anywhere in the house as you please as this will be your home also. Your personal space and privacy will be respected. The house is 3,200 square feet so I think we will have plenty of room and I don�t have any pets (I would ask that you don't have any either. If we are going on an out of town trip, you may come with us if you like or you can stay at home.
