i bought this about a month ago, with the intention of fixing it up and using it this summer, but im moving to a small place and have no room. I have installed a CDI and ignition coil, new dry cell battery, (was $80) the carburator has been re-built recently, i have cleaned the fuel tank, flushed it and filled with new gas, took it out and ran it a few times, runs great when it runs, but it has a bottom end intake leak, i was told it was the crank shaft rear seal, if you are familiar with 2 strokes you will know what this can do to, similar to an intake gasket leak on a car.

The previous owner told me the compression on cyl 1 and 2 above spec, (it will run on one plug), hull is solid, i recently painted it satin black, and re-covered the seat, just dont have room or time, I am selling it, with the clear provision that it needs to have the intake leak fixed, it never left me stranded but if you take it in the water with out repairing it, i told you so.

Asking $500 comes with trailer and the tags on the boat are good til August.

PLEASE READ THIS CAREFULLY TO AVOID ANY CONFUSION...........This trailer was inherited by me and I do not need it,but it does have some problems that I have found that need repairs or maybe use it (as is) for a hunting lease trailer.

Problems I have found:
:The roof has some leaks,and it does have some water damage inside(I have the leaks stopped, but they will need some sealing repairs.)
:The refrigerator WILL NOT come on,with the electricity plugged in.(I have not tried it with the gas mode as the propane tanks are empty).
:There is a section of plumbing underneath that has been broken off and is missing(I think it is the black water dump line).
:It is missing the 12 volt battery to power the trailer without the shore line plugged in.
:The spare tire is bad,it had a blowout.
:One of the exterior door locks is broken,it works but(IT LOOKS LIKE SOMEONE PRIED ON IT).
:I do not have ANY door keys for the trailer(we could not locate them).
:I dont have any way to test the water heater,or the trailer heater(as the propane tanks are empty)
:The shade awning is GONE off the side of the trailer.

The Good:
:The air conditioner works great!
:The microwave works great!
:The interior lights all work!
:The onboard water pump works great!
:I think the stove works but cant test it(the propane tanks are empty).
:The stereo works great!
:The front trailer tounge electric jack works great!
:It will sleep 6-8 people!
:It has a ton of closet and storage space!
:The interior is in fairly good shape!
:I have the clear title!

I have revealed all that I have been able to find wrong with the trailer,and please dont let these things keep you from maybe buying this trailer,It could be a great trailer with a little time and effort,I just dont have the time to work on it,and we are not really campers,so we dont need it.The price I have set on it is negotiable as I realize that it needs work,so give me a call,come see it and lets work out a deal....................Thanks,Randy (512)921-2241

This rig is in really good shape for its age inside and out, tires are great, batteries are still good - only had to charge once in past year(Winter). Rig has 38,XXX miles on odometer. The generator hour meter reads 370 hours and starts right up. We have some manuals/documents/receipts for it as well, so come get it and go to the coast-thats what we did. I have this 5th wheel that has served me well for camping and on my hunting trips. This Skamper has working air conditioning, refridgerator, 4 burner stove, oven, sink, shower and a toilet lots of cabnets, a king size bed and a couch that turns into what is comparable to a queen size bed. All appliances are propane operated except fridge which is both propane and electric. The 5th wheel has two propane tanks that will provide for the 5th wheel for days.
