ABOUT CHALLENGE GAMES:
Challenge Games was founded in 2006 with the mission of creating online, short-form games that are challenging, fun and easy to play whether you're a serious or casual gamer. Targeting several social media platforms, we create cool games that can be played in 3-10 minute time increments anytime, from anywhere.
Challenge Games is looking for a creative and motivated individual who loves video games as much as we do to help develop video games and other entertainment products.
ABOUT THE POSITION:
• Troubleshoot, optimize and performance tune
• Write platform tested and maintainable code
• Test and implement new features, alone and with a team
• Help scope and design new games

ABOUT YOU:
• Loves video games (especially ours!)
• Internet / social media fluency and game savvy
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced start up environment
• Prior MMO experience is a plus
SPECIFIC SKILLS:
• Object-oriented PHP
• Large-scale SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL)
• M.V.C. Framework experience
• Production Linux experience
• Self-starter with high level of initiative
• A strong sense of ownership and urgency
• Self-motivated and capable of managing work with little direct supervision
