We released a major upgrade to our product in November and we are to the point that we need additional help to update and automate more of our internal testing. The flagship product consists of appliances, and clients that are installed on endpoint systems we monitor. Our management UI and our appliances are Windows-based. The clients are available for Windows and Solaris with a Linux release planned for this year. We are a well-funded startup with many of us working in the security industry for many years.
As a Senior QA Engineer working directly with a product development team you will execute test procedures to ensure a defect-free product is delivered. Being part of the product development team, you will participate in the entire life cycle of product development from analysis and design discussions to product release.
Write automated test applications that can function with .Net and unmanaged code
Execute test procedures/cases to identify bugs through independent, systematic testing.

Professional Requirements:
5-7 years experience as quality assurance engineer and previous experience as a Technical Lead required
Experience with QA in a Windows environment is a strong plus
Extensive experience with Automated Testing
SQL-Server knowledge a plus

The appliances are built on the Windows XP embedded operating system, the core application is written in C and C++, and the entire UI is run in the .Net framework using C#. From a user perspective it looks and feels like a standard Office app. This appliance communicates via IPSec to clients we install on every endpoint we want to secure. These clients are written exclusively in C and C++.

We have some automated testing in place for the internal communications, but we are looking for automated UI testing and regression testing of our clients across multiple Windows and Solaris operating systems.
