Seeking Experienced Spa Director/General Manager

The Spa Director/Manager is responsible for running the day-to-day operations of the spa, while ensuring that the customers receive the highest level of customer service, that all spa services are being performed according to protocol and that our strict spa standards are being met. This person will be responsible for hiring and training staff at all positions, coaching employees to meet and exceed performance and sales goals, maintaining the daily schedule, accurately preparing payroll and other financial reports, performing administrative duties and completing management reports.

Qualifications:
- Spa, Business, Management, Hospitality and/or Customer Service skills are required
- Strong computer and mathematical skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Natural problem solver with strong organizational skills and the ability to make decisions quickly
- Proven Leadership ability


Responsibilities include:

- Manage day-to-day operations of facility and personnel
- Recruit, interview and hire qualified personnel based on anticipated needs
- Train personnel in selling techniques, front-desk procedures, and daily facility maintenance
- Coach personnel on a regular basis
- Resolve client and employee issues quickly and effectively
- Maintain company visual presentation standards with facility and staff
- Prepare payroll and submit to Controller
- Communicate with immediate supervisor and providing input to continually improve business
- Strong skill set in schedule of staff, anticipate busy days and weekends.
- Ensure achievement of sales goals, business objectives and profitabilities
- Project positive image, maintain cooperative teamwork with facility
- Place high emphasis on customer service and satisfaction
- Resolve guest issues in a timely manner
- Inventory management, Retail and Backbar (merchandising, ordering, forecasting, stock management, cost control)
- Oversee staff's schedules and responsibilities to ensure maximum productivity
- Consistently maintain service sales and retail sales expectations.

Position requirements:
• 2+ years management experience in a spa/salon, beauty or service/retail environment
• College-level or business-related course work
• Ability to work independently
• Proven decision-making skills
• Team player with strong supervisory skills
• Detail-oriented with exceptional administrative skills
• Retail and product knowledge
• Time management skills with ability to handle multiple priorities
• Flexible and available to work varied shifts including evenings and weekends
