We are a retired couple with grandchildren to visit (as much as possible) in the Berkeley area. We are looking for a housing swap at your convenience; dates and length of stays are flexible. We would consider from one week to several months.

Our house is west of Austin off of Bee Cave Rd. It is a nice, recently updated 3/2 with huge kitchen, 2 living areas, beautiful deck overlooking a wooded canyon. Sleeps 6 not including the couches. The neighborhood park is available to you with Lake Austin access (docks, swimming area, boat ramp), playground, and swimming pool. We are about 20 minutes from downtown and Zilker Park.

We are in Eanes ISD (great schools), so this situation may work with a family wanting to move into the district but still looking for permanent housing.

What we would need is one+ bedroom in a nice, safe area with easy access to South Berkeley; preferably not more than one flight of stairs. We would also consider San Francisco and surrounding areas, depending on the transportation situation.

The Lodge at Stone Oaks Apartments

The apartments are great, but my work is forcing me to mover further down south ASAP. This is a 6 month lease which was started on April 1 and ends October 31st. When I signed the lease we were given the 12 month rental price ($1019) as opposed to the 6 month rental price of $1200, so you are saving $180 a month. I am looking for an Austin college student to take over my lease at Town Lake Student Appartments. Which means this is for Austin college students only! It is not me renting out this appartment. It's being rented out by Town Lake Student appartments. I had plans to move in so i signed the lease but some family isssues are preventing me to move in so i need someone to sublease with.
