I just bought this computer for my sister, but it turned out what she really wanted was a new Apple computer. :-( I had a friend install Windows 7 Ultimate on it so it's upgraded from Windows Vista. I'm not very computer literate and I didn't really get a chance to use this much, but there's a very slight darkening on the screen in one spot. It's barely noticeable, but I'm sure it lessens the value so that's why I'm selling this so cheap. (In the picture it looks like it gets dark on the right corner but that's actually just the angle. The little spot is in the middle of the screen, you can't see it in the pic at all. Like I said, barely noticeable!)

If you know what you're doing you can probably get it working. It worked when I put it in the closet five years ago and wouldn't turn on when I pulled it out last week. I have no idea what's wrong.

From what I remember, it has a 6gb hard drive, a G3 processor running at 400mhz and an airport card. The good news: You get the new aluminum unibody Macbook (purchased July 13th of '09) for approximately half of what I paid for it.

The bad news: When you deal with liquids and Apple, the warranty does not cover it. You pay out of pocket to get it fixed.

The story: One day I was working and I spilled tea on the keyboard. Fortunately I was able to power it down completely very quickly. I was able to take it apart and dry it out over a three day time period. After that time, I powered it up and it works fine. The only thing that is noticeably wrong with it is that the lighted keyboard underneath the area where the spill ocured does not light up completely. That's it.

You will get all of the material it came with, including the new Snow Leopard OS, power cord, etc.
