Wonderful trip!, October 6, 2009

My husband and I were in Austin on business and stayed at this wonderful rental for 3 weeks in September. Really lovely and very convenient to the Lake~ we kayaked, ran the trail~ we're runners and loved all the excellent food and music Austin has to offer. Kathy and George took such good care of us~ from where to shop for groceries, to good local eateries, and where the best farmers markets are. We highly recommend both the home and the owners.

I stayed in the Eastside Inn for a month and had a wonderful experience. The house is beautifully decorated, spacious, comfortable and just lovely! Unlike most short term stays, the kitchen here rocks! Also, Kathy, the owner, could not be more helpful and attentive and is great local resource for all the fun that is Austin.
Great location, great house, great everything!, March 10, 2009

While we stayed for only a long weekend, this was one of the best rental experiences I've ever had. House is clean, spacious and well decorated (claw foot tub, hello!) and the owners make sure to have certain necessities on hand (iron, hair dryer, towels). The location is great, too, just minutes from downtown. We will definitely stay here again!
I spent six weeks at this rental property in mid-winter with my five-year-old son, partner, and small dog. We had a wonderful time. The house is comfortable and clean, with great character and light. The kitchen is fantastic, lots of modern amenities. I loved the neighborhood, especially Natural Foods just a few blocks down (vegetarian cafe). I cannot stress enough how great the owners are: thoughtful, friendly, helpful, honest, and excited to show off a city they love to new people. (I did not know them before our stay.) They made our Austin visit an especially great experience. We hope to return as soon as possible. And the agave plant in the front yard is terrific.
