Walk to the Fun Fun Fun Music Festival. This architect designed modern studio is located in downtown Austin's historic Swede Hill neighborhood. Located less than a mile from Austin's Central Business District, the Austin Convention Center and walking distance to the University of Texas football stadium. Walk downtown or to some of Austin's hip new restaurants and bars on the east side. The studio is a spacious, secluded and airy 600 square feet, with high ceilings, skylights and glass doors looking out onto the garden. The bedroom has a comfy queen sized bed and there is a new sofa bed in the living room and a full bathroom (with tub.) Located behind the architect owners modern home, the studio is beautifully and tastefully furnished and fully equipped with high-quality sheets, towels and kitchen equipment. Sleeps 2-3 (one bedroom with queen bed & 1 sleeper sofa). The outdoor private patio is a great place to relax and enjoy Austin. We have a 2 night minimum and charge a $50 cleaning fee. Currently available for Thanksgiving holiday.

Recent Review: We stayed in this guest house for 4 nights recently. The owner, Amy, was MORE THAN gracious and invited us in to see her amazing home that her husband designed. The guesthouse in back is VERY spacious with a separate bedroom and full kitchen and bath. The living area has a pull out sofa as well. If you are fans of Dwell Magazine and modern design, this is the place to stay. I loved the privacy as well as the photography and art in the place which made us feel at home. The location is great (only a few minutes to downtown). We will definitely stay here next time we visit Austin
