This home affords great privacy, but is an easy trip by your boat to the Hula Hut (Mexican food), Ski Shores (for burgers) or County Line on the Lake (BBQ.) Ten minutes away is the Hill Country Galleria for shopping, restaurants and movies. There is a convenience store and a supermarket not far for those sundries you may have forgotten. By car it's only about 20 minutes to downtown Austin, UT, the Convention Center, Zilker Park and the 6th Street entertainment district.

The house is a split-level home built on a hillside, designed by architect Robert Pringle. On the entry level is the study which has a sofa that makes out into a full-sized bed. Also on this level is a full bath with a shower.

Upstairs is the loft master bedroom with a king-sized bed and full master bath. The master bath, which is completely tiled, has a bathtub with shower along with double sinks and a separate vanity. Also upstairs is another bedroom with a twin day bed and trundle. All bed and bath linens are provided.

Downstairs is the living room with its soaring natural wood ceiling, a wall of lakeside windows and a lovely limestone fireplace. The two sofas can fold out into queen-sized beds for additional sleeping accommodations. The fully furnished kitchen includes a Jenn-Air cook top and butcher block island. The oak table in the dining room seats eight. Also on this level is the powder room and the laundry with stacked washer/dryer.

There are five ceiling fans in the home and two separate air handling units to keep the house very comfortable in the summer or winter. The house is on municipal water supply so the quality of the tap water is not a concern.

In the evening, cook out on the gas grill and dine under the stars on the house or boat deck. Relaxing on the boat deck as dusk falls is the perfect way to end the day.

Adjacent to the house is a large tree shaded deck with three large pecan trees growing up through the deck.

There is plenty of parking for 4-6 vehicles and your boat trailer. The house is at the end of a private road so there is no traffic (except the neighbors).

We have a newly built private boat dock which can accommodate a boat up to 24 feet in length. The powerful boat lift will raise you boat safely out of the water. On either side of the dock is a generous swimming area for a bracing dip. Above the dock is a deck for sunning, dining or entertaining.

Austin is a great town to visit. During your stay, you�re in your own private world, but Austin is as close as you like. This is a great spot to stay when you�re in town for UT sports and events like South by Southwest and the Austin City Limits music festival. There is the Round Rock Express for baseball fans in the summer.

The kitchen is fantastic, lots of modern amenities. I loved the neighborhood, especially Natural Foods just a few blocks down (vegetarian cafe). I cannot stress enough how great the owners are: thoughtful, friendly, helpful, honest, and excited to show off a city they love to new people. (I did not know them before our stay.) They made our Austin visit an especially great experience. We hope to return as soon as possible. And the agave plant in the front yard is terrific.

I came to Austin with 5 students for the Clinton Global Initiative University. A hotel was out of our budget and we are so grateful we found the Eastside Inn. It was cozier, more elegant, more refreshing than a hotel and far more affordable! And Kathy could not have been sweeter, true Texan hospitality. There are two beds and a futon and while we didn't need a blow up mattress, it made the sleeping arrangements more comfortable. She brought one over the moment we asked. Scenic Views, Boat Dock & Launch! Even when the lake levels are low, you have plenty of waterfront to take a dip!

This property is located at the original ferry landing site for Lake Travis � Lohman�s Crossing. It was a fishing camp in the 1950s-1970s. Lakeway Park is within a mile of this charming retreat along with Lakeway Resort, golf, and tennis close by. On two scenic acres, we have over 500� of shoreline waterfront and the fishing is excellent!

When the lake levels are low, boats on trailers can be launched from the site with a 4 wheel drive vehicle. We have a boat dock as well.

The main house has two large outside bars, including a covered 1,200 sq. ft. rooftop lake view recreational area for entertaining. There is a king sized bed in the bedroom and a futon and reclining sofa in the family room. Along with a full kitchen, this suite accommodates 4 comfortably.

The upstairs yellow suite sometimes referred to as the �honeymoon suite� has a bedroom with a king sized bed and family room with a futon. This suite accommodates 4, with a half kitchen. The deck off the living area is quite large with sitting areas and a hammock.

The ground floor coral cabin has a queen sized bed with a futon in the living area, with a kitchenette/mini-fridge and sitting porch. This suite also accommodates 4.

All of the units have central heat/air along with cable TV, DVD players and wireless internet service. There is a washer/dryer and an extra oven/stovetop in the utility room, just beside the coral suite.

All 3 of the units have one full bathroom.

I'm clean, laid back and respectful of privacy. Amenities include wireless, cable TV/DVD/CD, washer/dryer, back yard and hot tub. I will have coffee and breakfast items available each morning. I also own and manage a vacation rental house just next door.

I live in the heart of the famously popular SOCO shopping and dining district. The neighborhood is quiet, yet Congress Avenue is only a block away. The bus service runs daily every twenty minutes to downtown with a stop just across Congress Avenue - http://www.capmetro.org

There are popular stores and restaurants galore within walking distance. Downtown is just 9 blocks north on S. Congress Ave. The quaint neighborhood park and pool, Stacy Park and Big Stacy Pool are just 4 blocks east - http://www.austinparks.org/.

Located behind the architect owners modern home, the studio is beautifully and tastefully furnished and fully equipped with high-quality sheets, towels and kitchen equipment. Recent Review: We stayed in this guest house for 4 nights recently. The owner, Amy, was MORE THAN gracious and invited us in to see her amazing home that her husband designed. The guesthouse in back is VERY spacious with a separate bedroom and full kitchen and bath. The living area has a pull out sofa as well. If you are fans of Dwell Magazine and modern design, this is the place to stay. I loved the privacy as well as the photography and art in the place which made us feel at home. The location is great (only a few minutes to downtown). We will definitely stay here next time we visit Austin.

This property is located at the original ferry landing site for Lake Travis � Lohman�s Crossing. It was a fishing camp in the 1950s-1970s. Lakeway Park is within a mile of this charming retreat along with Lakeway Resort, golf, and tennis close by. On two scenic acres, we have over 500� of shoreline waterfront and the fishing is excellent!

When the lake levels are low, boats on trailers can be launched from the site with a 4 wheel drive vehicle. We have a boat dock as well.

The main house has two large outside bars, including a covered 1,200 sq. ft. rooftop lake view recreational area for entertaining. There is a king sized bed in the bedroom and a futon and reclining sofa in the family room. Along with a full kitchen, this suite accommodates 4 comfortably.

The upstairs yellow suite sometimes referred to as the �honeymoon suite� has a bedroom with a king sized bed and family room with a futon. This suite accommodates 4, with a half kitchen. The deck off the living area is quite large with sitting areas and a hammock.

The ground floor coral cabin has a queen sized bed with a futon in the living area, with a kitchenette/mini-fridge and sitting porch. This suite also accommodates 4.

All of the units have central heat/air along with cable TV, DVD players and wireless internet service. There is a washer/dryer and an extra oven/stovetop in the utility room, just beside the coral suite.

All 3 of the units have one full bathroom.

Perfect spot for a short term single occupancy traveler. This 1930's house is just minutes from downtown. The house is 2BR/1BA, and I occupy one of the bedrooms. I'm clean, laid back and respectful of privacy. Amenities include wireless, cable TV/DVD/CD, washer/dryer, back yard and hot tub. I will have coffee available each morning.

I live in the heart of the famously popular SOCO shopping and dining district. The neighborhood is quiet, yet Congress Avenue is only a block away. The bus service runs daily every twenty minutes to downtown with a stop just across Congress Avenue - http://www.capmetro.org

There are popular stores and restaurants galore within walking distance. Downtown is just 9 blocks north on S. Congress Ave. The quaint neighborhood park and pool, Stacy Park and Big Stacy Pool are just 4 blocks east - http://www.austinparks.org/.

I do have a cat (Buddy) that spends most of his time outdoors (he has a cat door and NO litter box). I just want to give the heads up in case of any allergy issues.
