The Pecan Street Festival used to be fun. It's become a bum-infested flea market of cheap imported crap, time share vacation resorts, and crack whores. Where's the art? Where's the music? Is anyone surprised its going out of business?? And now, the Austin City Council has the balls to spend $18,000 of MY TAX DOLLARS to bail out this albatross of bad taste??? No one asked me if that was OK. I object to wasting my money on someone else's bad business practices and trying to save a sinking ship. Elections are right around the corner! Remember this, city council members, when you're asking yourself why you're out of office.
