HIS FORMER EMPLOYER has a big legal firm representing THEIR interests & have seemingly shown little or no remorse or willingness to make things right concerning most of the matters.
The man also contends he now has documented evidence that the YMCA's attorney responded to his claims by LYING to the govt. investigator, (whether knowingly or due to the YMCA perhaps telling him to, who knows)! He believes he can also PROVE that the YMCA's attorney LIED to him, too, in response to legal questions asked, which they were required by Law to answer! Who will ever believe them if this actually makes it to court, but this man has no legal training, and the YMCA's attorney, according to another attorney..."doesn't play fair". Indeed, it seems that during some initial phase of discovery proceedings, the YMCA's attorney seemed to have left out some information required in a joint discovery conference matter, evidently, and the man was left to fend for himself to get his own documents filed on time when they pulled out suddenly, within about three hours of the deadline. The poor man had to find a way to get way into Houston to file what they had agreed to file for them all. --- What drama, ...and nobody seems to have the "eggs" to report this stuff !

The man alleges that he was told to start giving $1,000 per year to the npo's charity fund ....or reconsider whether or not to continue working there!
Also, he allegedly suffered other workplace troubles, then, supposedly, when he refused to take part in "labor crimes", things "crashed"!
He was reportedly slapped in the head, repeatedly,...in the office, & in front of his co-workers (- 3 times, rapid-fire, on one occasion! ), forced to take major, temporary pay-reductions, temporary unmerrited demotions, & supposedly had lots of unpaid overtime.

When he gave his resignation, their HR rep quickly contacted him & soon placed an estimated amount of $ for unpaid OT wages for several years into his bank account, by direct deposit, even without him signing off on that deal. Later on, one attorney told him that if some company doesn't pay you proper OT wages, they are supposed to pay 2X the amount! --- So, ...do you think they simply tried to "make things right" just to pretend something & to try to keep from getting sued? Don't you think their HR dept. KNEW they were supposed to pay 2X the OT wages they had "allegedly" refused to pay him over the years? (LOL)

NOW SEE THIS:
--- HE ALSO "allegedly" was TOLD, "Don't hire 'too many' BLACKS" and "Keep them separated" (from each other) ....AND ..."Don't hire 'too many' MEN" & "Keep THEM separated", too!!
--- men, the "bread-winners" of the family, not allowed jobs only because of being men! ...And what if they have hungry kids to feed or take care of?!
--- OR...try explaining that to a poor young black man trying to make it through college so he can climb out of poverty! (--and this fair-minded fellow is a white man)
-- And about blacks, well, who's next: Latinos, Jews, American Indians, Asians?!

When asking for "some" overtime-pay (for his overtime work), ... his boss allegedly simply LAUGHED derisively, right in front of his coworkers, then reiterrated the "normal" procedure of shifting hours to show NO overtime on the timesheets!!!
Supposedly, when talking more about in her office in private, she got mad and said,"Why do you think YOU should get overtime pay and nobody else should?!" To which he seems to have answered,"I don't: I think we ALL should get paid overtime for our overtime work." Then, she evidently stormed out through the outer office where his co-workers were, threw up her hands & declared,"Well, I'm not going to get fired over this, but I'll go ask....(_____)...if I can give you an hour of overtime!" Wow,----He had been on his way toward a 50-hour work-week. They seem to have then sent him home early in order to minimize his OT wages, the "boss" staying mad at him for at least a week. Later, he got a write-up for an hour of OT after having to stay late for work-related reasons, included, it seems, being forced to run a 2-person afterschool childcare site ALONE, "holding his 'water' ", --- "officially" against policy....AND .....having to deal with a case of child-reported child-abuse, by telephone, with one of his NEW site-directors who didn't know what to do. --- Yes, it is state law to deal with such issues! So, this guy got slammed in retaliation, "IT SEEMS",...for doing his JOB, doing it WELL, AND...for NOT being CORRUPT?!?!?!

The Texas Solar Energy Society hosted a Cool Home Tour Sunday, in an effort to show people how to lower their electricity bill by making their homes more energy-efficient.

Stefanie Lindquist said she never had a plan to go green at home, but since she bought an energy-efficient house, she said she almost always ends up talking about it when people stop by.


Homeowners on the Cool House Tour said they were trying to gather some good tips from people like Lindquist.

"It's a nice idea to save," homeowner Corrinne Swope said. "I don't like to be wasteful, and that includes things and money."

Lindquist said her most recent energy bill for her 2,400-square-foot home was just $140, and that included her water bill.

"Some people have $300 and $400 electric bills. We, at the end of the month, have several hundred dollars left over," Lindquist said. "Our energy bills are almost laughable."

It's not just about saving cash, either.

"I'm into leaving a smaller blue print on the planet," homeowner Nancy Schmidt said.

Experts say the step-by-step process begins in your attic.

"If you take that one measure and properly insulate your attic, you can save more than half of your electric costs," Director of the Texas Solar Energy Society Natalie Marquis said. "Eighty five percent of the heat lost in your house, comes from your attic."

Ten years ago, experts thought the best way to make your home energy-efficient was by insulating both the walls and the attic. Now they've learned, by just insulating your attic, you can save up to 40 percent on energy consumption.

After the attic, you can then take the other measures, one at time, towards making your home as energy-efficient as the "Cool Homes."

Changing your roof will also help you save an immense amount of money, as well as switching to high energy-efficient, low-e windows, good caulking and weather stripping of your home. Changing old incandescent light bulbs to the fluorescent energy-efficient bulbs can also help reduce that energy bill.

sancuary and right away I realized Mrs Champion said some thing about me to alot of people that wasent true and I told that assistant preacher I havent had sex in 15 years
in which now it is 17 years and you think that is easy bull-oney you wouldent believe how pissed off I was hearing that from a bunch of people that dident even know me
and never talked to me and told me what she said about me and not bit of it was true. 1. No more Bullshit!

2. Separation of government legal platforms.
Many judges and prosecutors work in the same building and fraternize between each other. As a result, many judges have a biased opinion, and this creates a one sided system: judges for conviction just for conviction sake. For example I’ve spoken with many DWI case victims. Many are truly innocent, but the rule in this country is,” guilty until proven innocent”. Most where goaded with the thought that if they are convicted, they will get the maximum sentence regardless of the fact of their innocence. This is a common practice for both judge and prosecution so a plea bargain is usually struck. In many cases large sums of money and time are demanded by the government. Sounds pretty shitty, huh? This goes on with almost any crime in this country and I believe that is wrong.
No more police taking away your rights at every chance! The Police should have their barrage of weapons and ability to accuse citizens without 100% proof taken away. Until the government can be placed in complete control by ALL citizens, not just representatives the system will not work. Like now!

Texas should be FREE. The jails are packed with so called "CRIMINALS" (citizens that have been the victim of overly imposing laws). Jail should be reserved for TRUE CRIMINALS (rapist, thieves, and violent nut jobs).
3. Legalization of hemp production.
I am pro hemp. This is a plan that throughout centuries has proven to make quality products. If a bunch of people want to smoke it then good for them. It is no worse than alcohol or nicotine.

4. Industry
I am pro-environment. This includes cleaning up industries in Texas and helping them produce cleaner safer products, with no downside to the guys and gals at the top continuing to make their profits. That is important to them and this is Texas… let them have it. AKA, start a green company parallel to the pollutant company and when and if the green company ether out produces financially or productivity wise, shut down the pollutant company. The environment is an important resource that we should preserve in Austin. The environment contributes to our quality of life.

"A 911 Call regarding loud music? You have to be kidding. I thought 911 was an EMERGENCY system. How is anyone justified in calling 911 for such a trivial matter? Aren't there other platforms for requesting police assistance in non-emergency situations? Shouldn't Scott Trainer be at least chastised or possibly cited for inappropriate use of the 911 system?

I'm also curious how long Mr. Trainer has lived at his current residence. I know that Shady Grove has been around for a long time. Who preceded whom? Obviously I don't know the answer to that, but it reminds me of the situation of someone moving beside a train track & then complaining because the train noise bothers them.

Please understand that I don't have a dog in this fight. Just commenting with my take, based on the email exchange.

It appears to me that Dr Z did everything she could to provide a reasonably priced, CARING, safe procedure for Willy's dog.
Being in a kennel for several hours, even if a dog isn't accustomed to it, is not the worse thing in the world.
In fact, I'll bet, given a choice, the dog would prefer sitting in a kennel to having a neutering performed on him.
I'll even bet Willy would prefer it himself.

It seems that Willy is very "full of himself" with his "beating of chest" "I'll show you" attitude.
I'm thinking he never learned the old adage "It's easier to catch flies with honey than with vinegar."

Obviously, I wasn't there to know exactly what happened, but if the story went down exactly like the emails indicate, I would still believe that Dr Z was not at fault in this situation.
It sounds like Willy was wanting something for nothing...just my opinion.
Also, Willy... a puppy mill and a low-cost spay/neuter clinic are no way similar. So, your statement at the end of your email makes absolutely no sense.

Willy, I wish your dog well, as he isn't at fault here. Going green is a trend that has been around for a number of years, and has been gaining momentum. There are many ways to go green.  As many people would think of the obvious such as hybrid cars and solar power, many things that you can do within your own home are cost effective and help the environment.

Here are six easy ways to green your lifestyle:

1)    Ban bottled water – Reuse glass jars
Every city has strict guidelines on water quality.  Some wonder how bottled water ever caught on.  Simply put, most people chose convince.  Approximately 8 out of every 10 water bottles sold in the United States end up in the landfill and with the current scare of harmful chemicals, leeching out of those bottles it is a perfect opportunity to reuse glass jam jars and take tap water.

2)    Green your car washing
Instead of idling in a gas station line at an automatic car wash that uses heavy chemicals for cleaning, why not get a rain barrel and collect your rainwater, most rain barrels are equipped to have a hose attachment on them.  Rainwater is chemical free and easy on your car’s surface.  Just add some environmentally friendly cleaning products and you are ready to go – you can even get your kids to help out they will have fun!

3)    Eat locally
Eat local is an initiative many cities are taking, not only to promote their local farms, but also as a way to help the environment and your own personal health.  Studies have shown that if you eat foods grown within 100 miles of your home then your body is more capable of digesting and absorbing the nutrients from those foods since they essentially live in the same environment you do.  The other advantage to eating locally is the travel distance for the food is shorter thereby cutting down on gas consumption and emissions.

4)    Work from home
There are many employers today that see the value in allowing their employees, where applicable, to work from home.  This is a cost saving method through savings in such things as office space and heating, it is also a cost saving method for the employee. 

5)    Move to a walkable neighbourhood
Next time that you are in a situation where you need to relocate, consider the walkability of the neighbourhood.  Ask yourself questions like do I need to take the car just to get milk or can I walk.

6)    Shut off the shower water
Think of all the water used on a daily bases just for showering.  Next time you are in the shower shut the water off while you apply shampoo, conditioner and soap.  You will save a lot of money on your water bill and help the environment.
So you see, if you just look around your everyday environment, you can easily pick out things that will help you ‘go green’.  And remember one last thing – don’t print this article unless you need too.

The AKCIL Initiative encourages youths to learn about different aspects of the world rather than limiting themselves to stereotypical activities and lifestyles: Most people tend to play up the importance of athletics, but AKCIL knows that it’s far more important to place greater emphasis on gaining greater intelligence and encouraging children to learn to articulate his/her own thoughts, develop opinions, and learn to communicate those thoughts. In doing so, children will become more knowledgeable about the world, more self aware, and will feel more confident in his/her abilities to excel not only athletically but in the classroom as well.

Currently, AKC Institute of Learning is seeking non-profit 501(c)(3) status, a permanent space to offer services, program volunteers, supplies, and donations. AKCIL will be hosting various fundraising events to reach these goals, but as with achieving any goal, AKCIL requires the help and support of the community to make this dream of community advancement a reality. The pet overpopulation problem will only get worse if puppy mills thrive.

While thousands of dogs are destroyed in animal control facilities throughout Texas each year, underground puppy mills in untold numbers churn out thousands of puppies each week to be sold at pet stores, on websites or through newspaper ads.

These mills, operating in deplorable conditions that are cruel and filthy, flood the pet market with unhealthy puppies who often bring with them serious medical problems and possible tragedy when even the best of medical care is not enough to save them. The adult dogs used for breeding live their lives in wire cages or dirt floor pens without even the most basic veterinary care or humane treatment from humans. Female dogs are bred every heat cycle until their bodies are literally worn out. They are then destroyed or abandoned.

"Don't breed or buy while animals in shelters die" is a bumper sticker slogan worth taking to heart. As long as there is a market for "puppy milled" dogs, there will be puppy mills.

The Network encourages you to adopt a dog from a local shelter or rescue group and have him or her promptly spayed or neutered.
