Developer needed to join a growing agency that is rapidly expanding its interactive services and client base. We are looking for a web designer that is proficient in (X)HTML/PHP/CSS/XML to join our team. The ideal candidate will love new ideas, new applications and creating new online opportunities for ourselves and our clients. You will be the first full-time programmer to join our company with room for growth as our online presence expands!
Your work will have high visibility both within and outside the organization, offering the opportunity to make a major impact on a wide range of development projects and initiatives. Candidates should have experience working with SAAS vendors and be comfortable working closely with a highly skilled graphic arts and design team, and possess the ability to execute deliverables on time to exacting standards. Your eye for detail and ability to shift gears at a moments notice will be key to achieving success.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Expert knowledge of Flash, ActionScript, (X)HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, and XML
Experience in web development/production
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Experience in designing SEO friendly eCommerce websites
Experience in CMS development
Knowledge of video formats and rich media
Knowledge of and the application of a broad range of design issues including user interface, layout, typography, illustration, interactivity, animation, and multimedia
Experience with ensuring that all design elements, templates and finished solutions work within a variety of browser types and screen settings along with the constraints set by development and design
Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate technical issues in non-technical language
Ability to work with developer and business counterparts to ensure business requirements are appropriately translated to technical requirements.
Ability to work closely/cooperatively with the existing graphic design team
Willing to work full time, in-house (SW Austin, TX location) no freelancers or telecommuters please
