Web Support Specialist
This part-time, temporary position will support the Web efforts of the Texas Association of School Boards through research, editorial, production, and administrative work. The position will work 20 hours a week for three months.
Responsibilities will include
• Contributing to the research and recommendations stages of various Web site projects with idea generation, research, documentation, and production/administrative tasks.
• Producing and editing content for online audiences.
The ideal candidate will have the following characteristics:
• Enthusiastic about the possibilities of new media and how they translate to a real-world audience
• Self-motivated, imaginative, and a fast learner
• Excellent communication/writing skills; track record in strategic Web writing/content generation
• Experience using a content management system
• College degree in communications-related field (or equivalent work experience)
