Greenleaf Book Group is seeking experienced freelance book editors to work on a project basis. Ideal candidates will have solid credits with major trade publishers in nonfiction, business, and memoir genres. Ghostwriting and acquisitions experience preferred. Requirements include a proven ability to meet or exceed deadlines, an extensive knowledge of Chicago Manual of Style, and the ability to work with authors in a collaborative manner.
We are specifically seeking freelancers in the Austin area who can attend client meetings and editorial work sessions at our offices as needed. However, editors outside of Austin are encouraged to apply as well.
