This shady flexi-furnished cabin is a cozy getaway in the woods... that's also just a few miles from all the delights of central Austin. Less than 4 miles from downtown in the quaint, walkable Hyde Park neighborhood, the cabin is tucked away behind my house, exclusively yours to use with a welcoming xeriscaped firepit patio in front. It really does feel like you're living in the woods beside the creek.
Built in the '50s, the cottage is a rustic, artisan-constructed structure with a full kitchen, comfortable living room, and generously-sized bathroom.
Outside, enjoy the lawn, creek view, and two fire pits, perfect for relaxing. The bathroom features a fully-functional sailboat portlight and a tankless on-demand hot water heater. 1 small dog or cat okay. If you have your own furniture, I can store most of the chairs and tables in the shed. Comes with a smart speaker, wireless router, high-speed internet service, pullout sofa that sleeps 2, and a smart TV with guest mode enabled.
