This charming deep brown crock/churn would be a wonderful addition to rural or farmhouse/ranch design. This piece has a 2 piece lid. It has the numbers 3 & 4 stamped into the lid.
It is in very good condition for the age of the piece. The loop handle on the side is intact. There is also an indented handle on the opposite side.
The crock itself seems to retain water well. I filled it and checked 9 hours later, still full.
There are signs of wear on all three parts. Adds character! The stories it could tell!
It is 17" tall, 8" across the top and the bottom.
weight approx. 20lb
I’ve done some cleanup, but additional elbow grease would be helpful.
