This stunning ultra-rare vintage necklace was made by Ricarde of Hollywood in the early 1940's.
The necklace measures approx. 18 1/2" long x 1 3/4" wide, and has a slide and lock clasp.
The handset various sizes of faux 'Sapphire' crystals are encased in an elaborate gilt design……
Beautifully designed with raised intricate fretwork. It is stamped "Ricarde of Hollywood" on the back, and in excellent condition.

In the 1930's and 1940's Hollywood turned out spectacular movies and in those movies were fabulous costumes and jewelry.
Hollywood Jewelry Products, Inc. was launched in 1939 by Richard C. Baxt. The company became known as 'Ricarde of Hollywood' and specialized in producing beautiful costume jewelry reproductions that were inspired by the famous 1939 movies Juarez with Bette Davis and THE most famous movie of the day,"Gone With The Wind."
