The face value of 5 Dollars is fully backed by Niue Island. Each 2022 62.2 Gram Niue Silver David Coin has been struck with high relief detail and includes an antique finish. This gives the coin both a three-dimensional quality and a vintage aesthetic. On one side is a close up of the face of David. He is shown facing the right side, just as you would see him in the actual statue in Florence. The roughly textured background gives the sense that Michelangelo is in the process of completing his masterpiece. The word David is inscribed along the side.
