Costco makes donations weekly to our church’s Homeless Task Force. We sell these donations to support Austin’s homeless community.
But we also occasionally get donations like this one from supporters of our cause!
Here we have a Schwab 1000 Four Drawer Locking Fire-Resistant File Cabinet!
The Schwab 1000 is a heavy-duty, vertical fireproof file cabinet with a 4-drawer locking design to protect vital records from fire and water damage. These units provide high-security locking and durable construction, with dimensions around 31"D x 16.5"W x 53.75"H
Features:
• Fire-resistant and rated for high-impact protection against fire damage.

An inspection sticker inside indicates it was manufactured in January, 1996, but it is in great condition. There has been some very minor damage to the Schwab nameplate and to the label holder on the face of the bottom drawer (see last two pics).
This fire-resistant file cabinet is very heavy, probably 350 to 400 pounds, but we were able to move it with two people, a pickup, and an appliance dolly.
