The headlight is very bright and works great for night rides. It also has a rear tail light. You can ride this bike in two ways: 1. Pedal assist (levels 1-5). This allows you to ride normally with some assist. Great for hills! 2. Or, you can use the throttle and just go without pedaling. It is very powerful and has no problem going up hills on it's own.
I am moving and need to sell this bike, but I can tell you that it is by far the best bike I have ever owned. You will not be disappointed. It's great for hills and long rides. The best part is that the seated position won't make your hands or shoulders hurt. The seat is very comfortable for long rides. Honestly the only downside I can think of is that it is kind of heavy, but I am happy to have a bit of extra weight and get a very sturdy solid ride.
I bought this bike new from the manufacturer and have all the documentation, so don't worry about it being stolen. It is also registered with UT Austin Police Dept.
