This is a 2004 Time VX Special Pro, size 54. Carbon fiber frame and fork. Classic frame, used by team Quickstep at the time (peak Boonen, Bettini). Original Time fork, seat post, headset and stem. Dura Ace brakes (rim brakes), Fizik saddle (it has seen better days), pedals not included unless you really want a pair of Speedplay X2s. Mavic Kysrium Wheels and Deda Elementi Newton aluminum handlebar, period correct. Tires are Continental Gatorskins, excellent condition. The drivetrain has been converted to a 1x front chainring setup, with a SRAM Rival crankset, 50-tooth chainring. Cassette is 9 speed, 11-32. The rear derailleur is a Shimano SLX mountain bike-type derailleur (this was built up before modern 1X group sets were available). Importantly the front derailleur attachment point is broken (pic included), which is why it was converted to 1X. This could be repaired but would require a carbon specialist; the seat tube is not round and will not accept a clamp-on mount. Downtube water bottle cage bolts are seized and require attention; seattube bolts are fine. Weight as pictured is between 18 and 19 pounds (I think). This is a classic frame and would make a great road bike, as is, or single speed conversion. I am the original owner, since 2004. Sizing: I am 5'9" with about a 33" inseam. Probably best for someone 5'9" to 5'11", and probably will not work for someone shorter than 5'9".
