Selling this badass Road/Crit racing machine. I bought this years ago after I quit racing and have ridden it on and off ever since. I am now mostly riding my gravel bike so this thing needs to go to a good home. All in this bike weighs right at 17 pounds (see image on scale).
Geometry is:
55cm top tube center to center
54cm seat tube center to center
138mm headtube
165mm headtube including headset cups
Frame: I stripped the headtube badge and most of the Litespeed decals from the frame and added a few subtle bronze Austinbikes decals.
However this was Litespeed's flagship frame in 2001. It weighs about 2.7 pounds. Insanely light for a titanium bike then and even now. It has a very beefy downtube and seattube. I believe the downtube is the 6Al-4V tube, with the rest being more tradition 3Al-2.5V. See link describing more on this frame below.......
Fork: I elected one of the lightest production forks for this build: The Cannondale Full carbon (including molded carbon dropouts). This thing weighs in at around 315 grams. It has a few small scratches on the clear coat but nothing deep
NOTE: I also still have the Cannondale/Time Carbon fork from the last image. I will sell the bike with whichever fork you prefer. Not both.
Handlebars: 42cm Zipp Contour full carbon. about a 80mm reach and 145 drop. Wicked light appx 190 grams.
Stem: Specialized Roval Alpinist XXXXXLight 110mm, 6 deg drop/rise. Currently set up on the drop. see link to this stem below....
Wheelset: Unsure of the brand but the Front wheel is a Chinese-made carbon wheel uses straight pull bladed spokes and straight pull black anodized hub. The rear wheel shares the same manufacture of rim, but I had the Hub and spokes replaced years ago. I used a DT-Swiss 350 star ratchet hub and DT Swiss Aerolite black spokes.
Groupset: Shimano 6800 Ultegra 11 speed, with Carbon fiber XXXXXLight rim brake calipers made by The Hive. These things are extremely light, but they could use some new carbon specific brake pads sometime soon. Cranks are 170mm 52-36. Cassette is 11-28 (i believe).
Seatpost: Easton EC-90 Full carbon post with full carbon seat guts.
Saddle: Specialized Body Geometry Oura with carbon rails. Super comfy and in fantastic conndition.
Comes with two crazy light full carbon bottle cages and good condition Dura-Ace wide axle spd-SL pedals.
email or chat with questions. No low-balls please.
To ride like brand new, could use some new bar tape, otherwise its primo.
